Junk Removal Welland is a small local team. We are not a franchise and we do not run a large crew roster — which means the people who take the calls are the people who show up at the property.
The work
Junk removal is physical work. A typical day involves lifting and carrying heavy or awkward items, often up and down stairs, through tight hallways, and in and out of a truck. Some jobs are a single piece of furniture. Others are a full property cleanout that takes most of a day.
It is also customer-facing work. You are inside someone's home, often at a stressful moment — a move, a renovation running late, a house being cleared after a death. How you carry yourself matters as much as how you carry a couch.
What we look for
- Reliability. Showing up when you said you would, on time.
- Care with people's property — walls, floors, stairs, door frames, and the belongings that are staying.
- Straightforward communication with customers and with the rest of the crew.
- A sensible approach to lifting, and the judgement to ask for help rather than force something.
- Comfort working outdoors and in unfinished spaces in all seasons.
